The drum subgroup compression example is switched in/out every 2 bars. I love how it brings the room up and adds energy, the whole thing feels more exciting, like the drummer is just hitting that little bit harder. (Settings; attack = 10ms, release = 100mS. GR peaking 5dB).

The stereo acoustic guitars compression is switched in/out every 4 bars, or once around the chord sequence. I love how the DBC adds tone and evens out the dynamics in the playing a bit, without affecting the top end and openness of the sound. (Settings; attack = 25, release = AUTO, GR peaking 5dB).

To demonstrate the fast attack, this track with a prominent snare drum sound is compressed by the DBC-20, pulling in the snare and adding a nice glue to the rest of the track.
