My Buzz SOC-20 is transparent as hell in that it always sounds natural and the QSP-20 holds the same idea. Its really transparent, and through it the same thing happens to the sound...its real. Everything just sounds so alive and full of air. It is seriously awesome. I have yet to try its DI, but I am hoping I get to sell my JDI and simplify my setup further. But this pre is awesome vs my 1073 based Vintech pre in that it complements it with a completely different flavor. These are probably never going to leave my rack. I love them.
